For those who just can’t quit Instagram (hey, that’s me, too!) and are always looking for the best accounts to follow and love, look no further. Below are some of some of our favorites that we always double click on.
Yoga to the People
Yoga to the People is almost too good to be true. It’s a donation based yoga studio with locations spread across New York City, as well as studios in California and Arizona. Their Instagram account provides details on regularly scheduled classes as well as special events. They even throw some motivation in there as well. Most importantly, their classes are pretty amazing.
The Fit Foodie Mama
Annmarie‘s account is all sorts of useful. She creates a ton of healthy recipes (like this one, which was even better than the “real” thing), and provides workout motivation (she’s a runner AND a DVRT master instructor!). She also opens up about her own health struggles, which will motivate anyone to get up off the couch and work through whatever difficulty is in your way. As an extra bonus, she also hosts a podcast called Runners Who Wine, in case all that Instagram awesomeness just isn’t enough.
Psycom
This account is both inspirational and motivational as it’s full of all kinds of mental health tips and reassurances that you aren’t in this alone. It’s a community of people who recognize that we all struggle sometimes, and that the stigma surrounding mental health treatment needs to end ASAP. It also features real life stories so the masses can learn from others’ experiences.
Greatist
Who HASN’T heard of Greatist by now, right?! If you haven’t, now’s the time to check out this wellness website that covers all things health. Their Instagram account provides motivation, laughs, and wise words all geared towards helping you live your healthiest life. They also get that life is all about the balance, frequently using the term healthy-ish to describe the reality of so many of us who want to hit the gym, but also hit the cookies.
Viva Wellness
I threw in a bonus one, because OF COURSE you should also be following Viva Wellness! Our Instagram account is full of inspiration to get you through the day, tips for healthy habits in ALL areas of your life, and those cute animal photos we all love.
